Z-Command is getting more powerful
For those who want a truly powerful home automation system, nothing beats having a REST API access. This is what Z-Command has always provided.
But things are even more interesting with release 1.1.7024 of Z-Command. The end user can now run any command on their raspberry pi in response to a z-wave event.
If you have modded you Z-Command hardware (raspberry pi) to have a camera feed for example, you can now have Z-Command automatically record a one minute video whenever a certain motion sensor it triggered. Or you could call an external REST end point in response to a z-wave event.
